After delivering his long-awaited 10th studio album Donda last year, Ye has already begun crafting its follow-up, Donda 2. Ye’s longtime manager and G.O.O.D. music COO, Steven Victor tells Complex that there’s an upcoming sequel to Ye’s controversial album.
“Ye has started working on his new masterpiece DONDA 2,” Steven Victor exclusively told Complex.
If Kanye sticks with the title, it’ll be the first time he’s released a sequel to one of his albums. Donda was certified gold in September.
There’s no word on when fans can expect to hear Donda 2, but Victor is already calling the album a “masterpiece,” indicating it will be worth the wait. Just last week a video surfaced online showing Ye in the studio with Houston legend, Scarface, and fans will also be eager to see if he reunites with Drake on wax following the squashing of their beef and the icons’ subsequent Free Larry Hoover concert together.
