Joey Bada$$ Announces New Song "The Rev3nge" To Drop This Friday

Joey Bada$$ is making his comeback to music after a five-year hiatus since his last studio album ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$. On Sunday (January 9),  the Brooklyn emcee shared a post to his social media accounts of what looks like a movie poster promoting his upcoming single “The Rev3nge,” dropping on Friday, January 14.

In a recent Instagram Live session, the “Waves” emcee said his album is “for sure” dropping this year, saying, "I ain't going to say exactly when, though, because there's certain rappers who be on my heels, so I'ma just... It's coming, though."

When announcing his new release, Bada$$ wrote in the post’s caption, “#THEREV3NGE 1/14" alongside images made to look like movie posters. The posters resemble that of a psychological thriller or horror movie, as Joey Bada$$ stares into the camera, giving off somewhat of a melancholy feel. “They say success is the best revenge,” the poster reads over the emcee’s glaring stare.
