Jeru the Damaja Performs Das EFX's "Straight From The Sewer" in Amsterdam

Brooklyn emcee Jeru the Damaja came out the gates with his 1993 single, the DJ Premier produced single “Come Clean.” The following year, he would drop his debut studio album, The Sun Rises in the East, receiving critical acclaim, earring a Four-Mic rating on The Source. 

Today, The Damaja is celebrating his 30 plus years in the game with his Youtube concert series, Jeru The Damaja Presents Do The Right Thing, where the emcee documents moments on tour as he performs some of his timeless records. 

In the most recent episode of the series, Jeru The Damaja pays dues to fellow Brooklyn emcees Das EFX by performing their song  “Straight From The Sewer,” and other classic singles from their careers. 

The Damaja is set on his mission to preserve the culture of hip-hop with his  Do The Right Thing concert series, touring throughout Europe and delivering some quality classic hip-hop content.
