Roc-A-Fella Records founders Jay-Z and Dame Dash are allegedly seeking a settlement in the case surrounding Jay’s Reasonable Doubt NFT deal. Earlier this month, Dame gave his side of things to Shannon Sharpe's Club Shay Shay podcast. “He sued me for something he said that I did that I didn’t. Then I just had to sue him because he was redirecting funds for Reasonable Doubt and I didn’t realize it. It’s embarrassing that we are in court.”
Dash said further, “I would never sue somebody I used to hustle with—I’m not into suing anybody. I was disappointed.”
On Wednesday, Complex reported that the pair was seeking to settle the case, but Dame posted a statement to his IG stating otherwise.
“Please don’t believe this hype we are no where near a settlement they accused me of doing something that I did not do and now they have to prove it.” Dame said further: ‘I can sell my share anytime I want #askthejudge and #jayz and @biggsburke if you wanna settle this holla at me….we used to hustle together…court is corny…lets talk like men for the culture…I dare y’all to respond. #doitfortheculture.”
