J. Cole has broken his “platinum with no features” run with his most recent album The Off-Season going platinum with guest appearances from 21 Savage, Morray, Lil Baby, and more.

The Off-Season arrived earlier this year as a follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2018 album KOD. According to Chart Data, the Dreamville rapper’s latest effort surpassed one million sales in the U.S. on Wednesday (December 22), making it eligible for platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The Off-Season is J. Cole’s sixth consecutive album to reach the milestone, meaning his entire discography is now certified platinum. The 2019 Dreamville Records compilation, Revenge of the Dreamers III, has also sold over a million copies Stateside.

Cole’s long-time manager and Dreamville co-founder Ibrahim “IB” Hamad, celebrated the achievement on Twitter, reminding fans Cole has been doing it “since back when CD’s was around.”

Congratulations to J. Cole and the Dreaville team for another big win. Carolina’s finest.
