In a recent interview with HipHopDX, Havoc of Mobb Deep spoke about hearing "Shook Ones Pt. II," a song that he produced, in Eminem's 2002 film 8 Mile.

"I was really taken back because I didn't know that Eminem was a fan, "The Queensbridge beatsmith and MC said. "To hear that, I found out that he was a fan and then the cha-ching sound went off in my head. The royalties bought this Fendi sweater."

Havoc was also asked in the interview about his favorite verse from his late partner in rhyme Prodigy. "I know it sounds cliche, but it has to be 'Shook ones'," he said. "He goes 'Official Queensbridge murderers the Mobb comes equipped for warfare, beware of my crime family who got 'nuf shots to share for all of those.'"

Havoc has been busy as of late, he told Rock The Bells recently.

"I got the Mobb Deep album that I'm working on with a bunch of unreleased Prodigy verses," he said, adding that performing at the Rock The Bells Festival, which took place in Queens in August, was a "full circle moment." "The way LL [COOL J] crafted and put this thing together, I don't think nobody else could have. LL is a Queens general, salute to him, of course, he would put a production of this magnitude together and include your favorite MCs and producers."

Havoc also spoke of his part in the recent Showtime Supreme Team documentary. "Speaking of Queens, I just scored the Supreme Team documentary," he said, adding that he also has a couple of artists that he's about to put out.
