E-40's love for his hometown Golden State Warriors runs deep. When the Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics 103-90 in Game 6 of the 2022 NBA Finals, the Bay Area legend was ecstatic and wasted no time sharing his joy via social media.

"Talk y’all sh*t @warriors what they gone say now!" 40 tweeted. "Y’all did dat @warriors congratulations! #NBAFinals2022 champions!"

Steph Curry scored 34 points and was named the NBA Finals MVP as the Warriors claimed the franchise’s seventh championship overall. The Warriors took the championship on Thursday night for their fourth title in the last eight seasons.

Curry, the eight-time All-Star, couldn’t hold back throughout his postgame interview with ESPN’s Lisa Salters.

“Man, I’m so proud of our group,” Curry told Salters. “I thank God every day that I get to play this game at the highest level with some amazing people. They know this is what it’s all about, playing for a championship, and what we’ve been through the last three years. [At the] beginning of the season, nobody thought we’d be here except everybody on this court right now. It’s amazing. Very surreal, though, very surreal.”
