Drake Becomes Only the Fifth Act with More Than 10 No. 1 Albums on Billboard

Drake is no stranger to breaking records, and he's done it again with his most recent album, Honestly, Nevermind. He becomes only the fifth act to have more than 10 no. 1 albums on the Billboard 200. The other artists to have accomplished the feat are The Beatles (19), Jay-Z (14), Bruce Springsteen (11), and Barbara Streisand (11).

Honestly, Nevermind, Drake's seventh studio album, has been the subject of much chatter since it dropped earlier this month (June 17). Some question if the mostly dance album should really be considered Hip-Hop (Irv Gotti says, "nope") while other music buffs have noted the long history of Hip-Hop infusing House music into its sound. The discussions obviously haven't stopped the record from being a success, and it gives Drake his eighth consecutive year with a new top 10 album — a feat unmatched by any other act.

Adding to his ongoing chart success, his track “Jimmy Cooks” debuted at No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, while two other tracks, Sticky” and “Falling Back” landed in the top 10. The Canadian rapper is now the first solo artist to have 11 No. 1s on the BillboardHot 100 and 11 No. 1s on the Billboard 200.
