Doug E. Fresh is set to host a new TV show, Collab, HipHopWired reports.
TV One is gearing up for its 20th anniversary in 2024 with a fresh lineup, including the much-anticipated series from a Hip-Hop legend. Collab is set to spotlight an up-and-coming artist teaming up with renowned figures from the Hip-Hop and R&B world. Viewers will gain insights into the dynamics between a budding artist and an industry veteran, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the makings of a hit record and the journey of establishing oneself in the music industry
”The upcoming year will shepherd in two milestones for our networks,” TV One and Cleo TV President Michelle Rice said in a press statement. “TV One will turn 20 and Cleo TV turns 5.”
TV One is rolling out new shows for its lineup. Alongside Doug E. Fresh's series, Tamar and Evelyn Braxton will host a cooking series titled 'In The Kitchen With Tamar and Evelyn Braxton'. 'Raising Fame', another addition, will be hosted by Lucille O’Neal and Sonya Curry, mothers to NBA stars Shaquille O’Neal and Steph Curry. The show will focus on stars and their families discussing their rise to fame. Guests this season include Magic Johnson, Lil’ Nas X, Billy Porter, Nicki Minaj, Patrick Mahomes, and Usher, each appearing with a close family member.
