Houston legend Devin the Dude is hitting the road this summer. The rapper made the announcement on social media back in June but shared today (July 5) that he's solidified more dates, also adding that he'll be joined on the tour by Big Cheeko and Willy J. Peso. The tour will kick off on July 8 in Austin, TX with stops in San Diego, Cleveland, D.C. and more before wrapping in Republic, Michigan on Sept. 10.

Back in March, Devin joined Cheeko on his single, "Watchin," a laid-back track stamped with a soulful guitar. Devin released his latest solo album, Soulful Distance, in 2021.

The Houston vet started out as a member of The Odd Squad (now known as The Coughee Brothaz) alongside producer Rob Quest, and Jugg Mugg. The experimental group’s 1994 debut album Fadanuf Fa Everybody!! dropped on Rap-A-Lot Records, pushing the label in a fresh direction. Several high-profile features later (including on Scarface's classic "Hand of the Dead Body" also featuring Ice Cube), Devin dropped his classic solo debut, The Dude, in 1998 and was subsequently called upon for another string of features including a standout appearance Dr. Dre’s “Fuck You” from 1999’s Chronic 2001 and De La Soul’s 2001 track “Baby Phat" from their album AOI: Bionix.

Since then, he's released 11 solo albums, including standouts Just Tryin’ ta Live (2002), To tha X-treme (2004) and Waitin to Inhale (2007), and has worked with everyone from Andre 3000, Nas, and Lil Wayne, to CunninLynguist and Raphael Saadiq.

Tickets for Devin's Back on the Road Again tour are available now.
