Big Sean Releases New Song and Music Video for "What a Life"

Detroit emcee Big Sean is back with a brand new song and music video produced by California beatmaker Hit-Boy with “What a Life.” This is Sean’s first single since his 2020 critically acclaimed album Detroit 2.

The visuals were handled by the famed hip-hop music video director Joe Weil, where the emcee floats over his city of Detroit, swarmed by a family of bees, and leads an army of bridal maids.

It seems like Sean is preparing to release a new project with the rollout of his new single and his most recent appearance on the L.A. Leakers, as he delivered a fiery 9-minute freestyle over Drake’s “Love All” and Kanye West’s “Hurricane.”

Are you excited to see what Big Sean has up his sleeve? Stay tuned for more news on Sean and hip-hop icons.
