De La Soul is celebrating a big milestone — hitting 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify just weeks after the long-delayed release of their early catalog on streaming platforms.
"The Magic number is 3…. Million! Thank you to all the ears listening monthly on Spotify," Posdnuous wrote on Instagram, celebrating the win.
Additionally, heir debut, 3 Feet High & Rising re-entered the Billboard 200, landing at #15 last week.
De La has been on a celebratory streak following the release of their catalog to streaming services on March 3, even as they celebrate the life and legacy of Dave (Trugoy the Dove, Plug 1), who tragically passed away in February. Last week, they gave an emotional, dynamic performance of their classic "Stakes Is High" on Fallon.
