R&B queens Chaka Khan and Stephanie Mills will be the next opponents to face off in a Verzuz battle.

Just a day after announcing Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia will be facing off in Los Angeles on December 2, Verzuz took to their Instagram account to announce “A Night for the Queens,” going live from Los Angeles on Thursday, November 18. 

Stephanie Mills spoke about doing a Verzuz with Chaka Khan during an interview with The Breakfast Club back in June. Just a few months later, Mills and Khan will face off in this battle of the R&B divas. 

Earlier this year, Mills teased an upcoming album after releasing her Juneteenth-inspired single, “Let’s Do The Right Thing.” 

Chaka Khan shared her song “When The Time Comes” on the Everybody’s Talking About Jamie soundtrack. Khan was also nominated for the 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.
