A Recap of the Bone Thugs and Three 6 Mafia Verzuz

The highly anticipated Verzuz battle between Cleveland legends Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Memphis trailblazers Three 6 Mafia commenced on Thursday night (December 2), in Los Angeles, California's Hollywood Palladium.

While Verzuz battles tend to be more about the celebration of hip-hop legends rather than animosity towards rival crews, things got a bit heated between Three 6 Mafia and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony at their most recent Verzuz face off.

A fight broke out on the Verzuz stage after Bizzy Bone felt some disrespect coming from Three 6 Mafia’s side.

"Aye, yo ... Aye, before we even get started, you ugly motherf****** ain't finna be mocking me while I'm on motherf*****’ stage. Like straight the f*** up." Bizzy then appears to throw a water bottle toward Three 6's side before all hell breaks loose.

The stage then broke out into a full-fledged brawl between the two crews, fists were flying, insults between crews were hurled back and forth before security and members from each team came in to intervene.

When he got back on stage, Bizzy apologized, saying, "I wanna apologize to everybody the f*** out here. On both sides. I'm not trying to f*** this shit up. Pardon me. Let's keep the party mother******’ going.”

There was some evidence prior to the show that things might get a bit tense between the groups, Bizzy previously called three 6 Mafia "devil worshipers," on an Instagram post, saying, "Now through JESUS CHRIST all things ARE possible but you wanna prove ya'll not some devil-worshipping punk-ass n***az then denounce satan on this BIG ASS PLATFORM TONIGHT! I CHALLENGE YOU ALL!!"

After the crews made up, the show continued without any issues as the groups played some of their greatest hits and brought out a few surprise guests. Bone Thugs brought out Chamillionaire, Lil Jon, and “Thuggish Ruggish Bone,” collaborator Natasha Williams.

Three 6 Mafia went crazy with the guests, bringing out a bevy of A-listers to join them on stage, including Lil Flip, Duke Deuce, Wiz Khalifa, Project Pat and La Chat, and a triumphant “Stay Fly” with 8Ball & MJG and Young Buck.  Lil Wayne popped out to perform “Bandz A Make Her Dance,” with Juicy J.

Three 6 Mafia ended the show with an epic performance of their Oscar-winning single from the Hustle & Flow soundtrack, “It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp,” with a surprise performance from the movie’s star, Terrence Howard.
