Bob Saget Was A Hip-Hop Head

As the world mourns the passing of Bob Saget, who died yesterday at 65, most will probably point to his role as Danny Tanner on Full House, and his time on stage as one of the most respected comedians working today.

Full House ran at a time when Hip-Hop was segueing from underground culture, to the mainstream. As a result, we got references to the genre like when Uncle Jesse decided to spit a couple bars on the show.

While his role at Danny Tanner was decidedly PG, his work on stage,, and his social media presence, revealed there was a decided edge to his point of view on life.

Upon closer inspection, Saget seemed to have a huge love of Hip-Hop — as referenced by Tweets to lyrics by artists like JAY-Z, Eminem, DMX, Ludacris, Kanye West, and more.

R.I.P. Bob.
