Big Boi is set to be honored at Atlanta's upcoming celebration of the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop, ATL LOVES HIPHOP.
At the event, which takes place on Friday, Aug. 11, Big Boi will be presented Atlanta’s esteemed Proclamation by the honorable Councilmember Byron Amos, an Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award making him a goodwill ambassador for the State of Georgia and a resolution that commends him from State Representative Park Cannon, alongside various acknowledgements and proclamations as well, according to a press release.
The event will be held at the Spaceman and will feature music by Supreme the DJ, ILL Wink, DJ Nabs and Cutmaster Swiff along with "visual effects, crafted spirits and cocktails."
