Over a slow-rolling sample-heavy track courtesy of Sounwave and Beach Noize, the TDE vet gets right to it, declaring his place as an artist and sharing observations as he weaves his way through life.
"All my naysayers are eatin' crow / 'Cause we reapin' every single thing that we can sow/ Needle and thread in my head, I'm a string theorist/ Everything is connected and we the seamstresses," he raps on the opening verse.
The track follows the recent release of the impressive mid-temp single, "Do It Better," which was accompanied by a dreamy video directed by Omar Jones and finds Ab-Soul firm in decision about wanting better for his life, mostly because he's "doing the work."
If his latest singles are any indication of where Ab-Soul is headed with the full-length project, it'll be worth the wait. Listen to "Gang'Nem" above.
