Television producer, mogul and recording artist 50 Cent recently called for a lift on the cancellation and blackballing that has been occurring with comedian/actress Mo'Nique, in addition to demanding an apology from Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry who Mo'Nique accuses of blackballing her. On March 15th, 50 says that he spoke to Tyler Perry and that Perry assured him that he has no problem with the comedian/actress.
“I talk (sic) to Tyler Perry today, he told me he never told anyone not to hire @therealmoworldwide and he is happy that I decided to work with her” said 50. He continued: “He said that he couldn’t speak for Oprah but he is sure that she is fine with Mo'Nique and has even brought her up for things that Monique has no idea about. I’m so happy for Mo right now!”
Mo'Nique says that her issues with Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey date back to her refusal to spend time promoting the 2009 movie Precious. Mo'Nique said on the TS Madison podcast that she had a recent conversation with Tyler Perry, and that the only way that he will sit down with her is without her husband/manager, and if she apologizes to him. The last television or film appearance by Mo'Nique was in 2016.
