Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter has been a mess. It's been reported that the social networking company temporarily locked all employees out of their office buildings on Thursday (November 17), and #RIPTwitter started trending as users presumed the end was nigh. As everyone shared jokes about their time on the popular social media app, 50 Cent was among the rappers cracking jokes.

“Hey is any body at work today? Twitter,” 50 asked to his 12.6 million followers.

“I LOVE TWITTER….!" Ice-T chimed in. "But if it implodes ‘I’ wont lose 44BillIon dollars.. Just sayin.”

According to reports, Twitter employees have been quitting on a massive scale, signing off via the company-wide Slack channel with emojis.

Musk purchased the company for a reported $44 billion at the end of October. The aftereffects were immediate; including Twitter layoffs of key people and a failed paid Twitter Blue subscription that resulted in a large crop of purchased blue checks tweeting misinformation and impersonating politicians and celebrities. The company announced via memo that it would reopen on Monday (November 21). Musk has stated that's the final day for current employees to decide whether to stay for his new approach.
