While discussing his latest Power spin-off; Rap artist, television producer, internet troll and provocateur Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson recently told The Talk that his next album could be his last.
“I think I’ll probably deliver one more full-length album, then the other things that I do will be connected to film and television," 50 stated. "I have so much success in this area that I have opportunities to keep releasing music through the projects that I’m bringing."
Last month, 50 posted on Instagram that he was about to hang up his mic.
“My next album might be my last. I terrorized Hip Hop for 14 years, don’t believe Nielsen, the numbers will never lie but I’m nobody’s favorite Smh. Nah, I’m top 10 dead or alive and I’m not done." 50’s last offering was 2014’s Animal Ambition. His musical output has definitely been put on the back burner in the wake of his success with the wildly popular Power series on Starz, as well as the hit show B.M.F., which 50 also executive produces.
