Raekwon Announces "French Vanilla, Butter Pecan, Chocolate Deluxe" Ice Cream
By Kiani Belgrave
Wu-Tang veteran Raekwon is perhaps best known for his 1995 hit single “Ice Cream,” from his iconic debut studio album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…, where the emcee famously compares his love for women to his favorite flavors of ice cream. 25 years later, The Chef has an ice cream of his own.
On Thursday (October 21), Fake Shore Drive’s Andrew Barber revealed Raekwon’s new ice cream bar in collaboration with the Chicago creamery Pretty Cool Ice Cream.
According to the ice cream bars wrapper, which was inspired by the “Chocolate Delight” t-shirts worn by the women in the “Ice Cream” music video, fans can expect a flavor explosion once they taste the frozen dessert, with Raekwon’s new “French Vanilla, Butter Pecan, Chocolate Deluxe” flavor.
There is no news on when the Wu-Tang-inspired dessert will be available for fans to purchase, but fans may be able to catch it on tour as Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, and GZA continue their 3 Chambers tour.
