Missy Elliott and Timbaland Tease Collaborative Album in the Works

By Kiani Shabazz

Fans of longtime collaborators, Timbaland and Missy Elliott have teased an upcoming collaboration project on social media this week. On Wednesday (December 1), Timbaland took to his Twitter account to ask his fans if they’re ready for a Missy Elliot and Timbo album

“Who ready for that Missy Elliott Timbo album?” Timbo tweeted on Wednesday, December 1, alongside some eyeball emojis.

It appears that the two Virginia natives have some heat in the vault. With Timbaland further fueling excitement on Instagram, posting a photo of himself and Elliott captioned with the same question.

Elliott added to the hype on Tuesday when she posted a video of herself captioned “Me & Timbaland falalalala #757 #DMV." as she vibed out to her “Bite Our Style (Interlude)’ from her debut album, Supa Dupa Fly

Last month, Elliott was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame to honor her decades-long contribution to music and hip-hop culture. “I want to thank God, first of all”. She said at the ceremony.

“I kind of give this to my female MCs in hip hop, to my sisters in hip hop. I wanna say I love each and every one of y’all. The ones that are popping now, the ones that are about to be popping.”
