Kendrick Lamar Announces Global Big Steppers Tour

By Rock The Bells Staff

Kendrick Lamar has announced a world tour in support of his new album Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers. K. Dot is hitting the road for his "Big Steppers Tour" beginning in July.

The North American leg will kick things off on July 19 at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City and run throughout the rest of summer; including two shows in Kendrick's hometown at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Sept. 14 and 15. There will be a U.K. and European run in the fall, with dates in Australia and New Zealand scheduled for December.

Released on Friday (May 13), Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers is one of the year's most anticipated projects. The double album boasts production from Pharrell, the Alchemist, Beach Noise, and Boi-1da; and guest appearances from Ghostface Killah, Kodak Black, Portishead’s Beth Gibbons, Sampha, Baby Keem, Summer Walker, and Thundercat.

Lamar’s frequent collaborators Baby Keem and Tanna Leone — who feature on Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers — will provide support on select dates. Tickets for the tour will go on sale next Friday, May 20, at 12 p.m. local time via Lamar’s site, Oklama.com.
