Former Death Row Records inmate and DPG co-founder, RBX has released his long awaited comeback album, Hibernation Shivers. The album, produced by Los Angeles production duo Sccit & Siavash The Grouch, is set to be released as a CD exclusive & Bandcamp digital download by Labcabin Records, followed by a vinyl & streaming release on a date to be announced.

The hibernation shivers is a condition a bear experiences after ceasing hibernation, which is used to symbolize RBX returning from his absence in the rap game. According to RBX, “Once Sccit & Siavash woke me up from my sleep, I had to shiver to get the blood flowin.. now it’s time to eat!”

Sccit & Siavash The Grouch, who are known for producing Fatlip’s sophomore album Torpor , produced Hibernation Shivers in its entirety, with help from west coast production greats Chris “The Glove” Taylor and Jellyroll. “Always good to have some legendary musicians on the team,” said Sccit.

Siavash added, “Torpor was the appetizer, maybe a little caprese. Now we’re hitting you with the entree, the lasagna and if you’re a real Hip-Hop head then you’re Garfield. RBX always had one of the most unique voices and deliveries and we felt we needed to do him justice and give him the album he deserves. That’s what this is. We got some real love and respect for our legends.”

RBX, who has been dubbed "The Narrator" made his name with features on classics such as "Lyrical Gangbang, "High Powered", and "Stranded On Death Row".
