'Hip-Hop And The White House' Trailer Drops

The trailer for Andscape and Hulu's documentary Hip-Hop And The White House has dropped. The trailer features Jeezy, Common, KRS-ONE, Daddy -O, Senator Maxine Waters and other prominent figures discussing Hip-Hop's influence on the political landscape.

The documentary, which examines the relationship between Hip-Hop, and U.S. presidential policies airs on April 22, and is narrated by Jeezy. The film is part of Andscape's documentary anthology series intended to explore the influence of Black culture on American society. “We are energized by the incredible storytellers working today, and we are thrilled to use our platform to spotlight the work of Black creators,” said Jason Aidoo, VP and head of Andscape.

“We feel this is the perfect time to discuss how Hip-Hop has influenced presidential politics, and to ask what we can expect from the culture in this upcoming election season,” said writer and director Jesse Washington.
